Description[]

Nikki and Ray's retaliation has consequences for Emmit; Gloria and Winnie start connecting the dots.

Plot[]

While filming a sex tape disguised as his brother Emmit, Ray Stussy proposes to his girlfriend, Nikki Swango, to which she accepts. They leave the tape on Emmit's doorstep with a demand for $100,000, but his wife, Stella, finds it first. Horrified, she leaves Emmit and takes their family with.

Sy Feltz, having been believed to have talked to the police, is punished by V.M. Varga, losing his office and being forced to drink Varga's urine from his cup. He calls Emmit multiple times to no answer, and meets with self-storage guru Ruby Goldfarb to set up an exit strategy for himself and Emmit should need be. Emmit finally calls him back, requesting his presence. Sy finds him alone in his house, distraught, at first lashing out at Sy before blaming Nikki and Varga for his stressors, begging Sy to solve things with Ray, which he promises to do.

Gloria Burgle and Winnie Lopez lay out their collected evidence for Donny Mashman, as practice for a presentation to Moe Dammick. Donny believes this will only anger him, but Gloria stays firm and asks him to look into the apartment Maurice LeFay was killed at, registered under a fake name from Nikki. She leaves with Winnie to interview Ray. While out shopping for wedding clothes, Nikki gets a call from Sy. She demands double the blackmail price to leave Emmit and his family alone, and Sy begrudgingly accepts, setting a meeting place and time.

Emmit and Ray shout at each other over the phone, Ray steadfast in believing Emmit owes him. He is stopped by Gloria and Winnie, who take him to the Saint Cloud police department. Ray nervously bluffs his way through Gloria's questioning, using details from a story Emmit told him about a family event to fabricate a bond with him, before Dammick stops the interrogation and demands Gloria release him. Gloria tells him her current theory, but he rebuffs it because of a lack of evidence.

Varga stops Emmit in his parking garage, proposing that Sy is working with Ray. Emmit rejects this theory but is still visibly tense. He is met in his office by IRS agent Larue Dollard, telling him he will be auditing Stussy Lots because of the $10,000 Ray withdrew from Emmit's account. He makes plans to meet with a representative of Stussy Lots the following morning, and Varga calmly tells Emmit they will fake their way through it.

As Sy and Nikki meet up, Yuri Gurka and Meemo, who have been following him, intervene. When Nikki aggravates Yuri, he talks to her about his time in Siberia before he and Meemo beat her into unconsciousness. They leave Sy with the badly injured Nikki, who eventually drives off himself, horrified. Nikki, dazed, drives home and curls up in her bathtub, Ray eventually finding her. As he tends to her injuries, panicking, a wolf's head fades in onscreen before it cuts to black.
